On a cold winter's eve, Brooke sat bundled up at home, swiping on the dating app called Coffee Meets Bagel. She came across the profile of a handsome man named....Francesco. His photos highlighted his interest in music festivals, psychology, traveling, and chess. Immediately, Brooke thought to herself, "Could this be the coffee to my bagel??" She swiped right, and waited to hear from this Italian hottie. The next day, Brooke woke to a message from Francesco. The message contained no words, only a youtube link. Curiosity consumed her, so she clicked on the link. When the page loaded, Brooke was shocked to see her all time favorite song on the screen: Thing Called Love by Above & Beyond. How did he know?! How could Francesco possibly know Brooke's favorite song? Brooke was speechless. She stared at her phone screen while her favorite song played quietly. This was too weird. She put her phone down and went about her day. A few days went by, and Brooke couldn't shake the thought of Francesco from her mind. She grabbed her phone and decided to give this mystery man a chance.... *Mountain View, CA* After finishing a nice home cooked meal, Kelby stood over the sink in his Mountain View apartment cleaning his dishes. Out of the corner of his eye he see's his phone screen light up. When Kelby looked at the small notification on his phone, he was thrilled to see that Brooke had finally messaged him back on Coffee Meet's Bagel. Well, she messaged back his pseudonym, Francesco. At that very minute, the mirror hanging in the entrance of Kelby's home, once belonging to Kelby's ex-girlfriend, fell to the ground and shattered into thousands of pieces. Out with the old. In with the new. The symbolism was not overlooked by Kelby. After clearing the shattered mirror, he exchanged contact information with Brooke and they planned their first date - a Miguel Migs concert at the Great Northern venue in San Francisco. *January 12th, 2018* Brooke met 'Francesco' outside of the venue. They exchanged pleasantries made small talk as they made their way through the line outside. As they approached the security at the entrance of the Great Northern, 'Francesco' took out his ID to show the guards. He turns to Brooke, flashes her the most charming smile, and says "By the way, my name isn't Francesco," then continues inside the venue rendering Brooke completely speechless once again. "What have I gotten myself into..." Brooke thinks to herself and then follows him inside to enjoy the concert. After explaining his reasons for using a fictitious name online, Kelby properly introduces himself and the two of them make their way onto the dance floor. *Untz Untz Untz Untz* The blaring music made it somewhat difficult for Kelby and Brooke to converse, so instead they decided to just dance and get to know each other's energy. You would be surprised at how much you can learn from simply enjoying someone's energy. Brooke quickly learned that Kelby was a fun and carefree person. His dance moves were quirky and adorable, and Brooke found herself quickly falling for this big goof. Kelby realized that Brooke was a kind, caring, and beautiful person, and he too began to fall for her. After that night, Kelby and Brooke spent all of their free time with each other - they were inseparable. They quickly fell in love and the rest is history!
