After being together for over a decade Jeff proposed on our second trip to Amsterdam. We took a train from Amsterdam to Brussel, Belgium to visit the Christmas market. We walked around several different markets and Jeff was determined to find the one with the big ferris wheel. I could not figure out why he really wanted to go on this ferris wheel when I couldn't get him on the one at Navy Pier in Chicago. After finding it and getting on it we got to the top and he got down on one knee and proposed to me. Of course I said yes! :)

We officially tied the knot and became husband and wife in a beautiful intimate ceremony surrounded by our immediate families.
