FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we’ve listed here, please contact the Maid of Honor, Lauren, at (281) 658-8244.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than May 4, 2024 -- May the Fourth Be With You!

Question

What happens if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. Additionally, failure to RSVP by the stated date will be an assumed "no" for everyone listed on your invitation. We will be having a public celebration after our honeymoon and would love for you to stop by! Details to come.

Question

When do I need to be there {at the wedding}?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 6:00pm. We have hired a fantastic strings trio to begin a musical prelude at 5:30pm. We hope you will arrive in time to enjoy them as we’ve given them a setlist that matches our personalities! Can you guess the tunes? Please do not be late. You will not be allowed to be seated if you arrive after the wedding party has walked down the aisle.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Dressy Casual. Think country club or nice dinner out; shirts should be collared, hems should be an appropriate length, and please no jeans, flip flops, or tee shirts. The theme of the wedding is shades of blue/beachy. You’re welcome to coordinate! Out of respect for the bride, please refrain from wearing white.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to budget costs and limited space of the reception venue, we expect only children of immediate family to be in attendance.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know of any dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of RSVP or as soon as possible and we will do our absolute best to accommodate you.

Question

Can I take pictures/post on social media?

Answer

The Ceremony will be unplugged. Before and after the ceremony, and during the reception/remainder of the weekend, guests are invited to take pictures. The wedding hashtag #shoreaboutsimmons can be used to tag all pictures and posts and we look forward to seeing your captured smiles and candids!

Question

How many days should I plan for?

Answer

The wedding will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 5:30pm to 10pm. Aside from the rehearsal dinner, there are no other official wedding events scheduled at this time. We would love to have you with us for however long you feel works for you and your family!

For all the days along the way
