We met like a lot of modern couples, via a dating app. It just so happened we were both transferring to Shawnee at the same time. We have experienced life with and without each other over the last five years. God has allowed us to grow as a couple and as individual people. We are thankful for the love story that we have and thankful to have you along in our journey.
Tim did an amazing job planning the proposal. He and my mom planned months in advance to create something great. We spent the day at the park in Maysville, Ky. This is a place Tim and I spent a lot of afternoons, getting to know each other when we first started dating. We got lunch together and took a walk. We stopped at a swing. While swinging, we began to talk about our favorite memories and the things we hoped to do in the future. I mentioned that sometimes it felt like our time together seemed so quick, but others, it felt like we had been together forever. He asked what I thought about forever- with him. That is when Tim asked... and I said YES! He also proposed with my grandma's ring, which made it that much more special.
