3/4/16: It was a Friday evening at the start of March, 2016, and Mash'd was decided as a good first date dinner. Little did we know we were paving our path for a lifetime together. After some rather entertaining and eventful conversation that lasted well past dinner, we decided to transition over to Dave and Buster's for some friendly arcade game competition. We were glued to Connect Four and Deal or no Deal when we soon realized the venue was closing and it was time to part ways. At that moment the butterflies told us we had found the right path.

7/11/2018: Tired, hot, dehydrated, and covered in mud, we had just completed a day of digging for diamonds at Crater of Diamonds State Park, in Arkansas. The gemologist just finished explaining the Baryte we found usually "plays on the same playgrounds as Diamonds", unfortunately, being on the same playground doesn't mean you always find diamonds. Leaving the state park empty handed, we took one last picture to commemorate the vacation. As the camera was focusing, Sean pulled out the most important find of the day and proceeded to get down on one knee. At first, Katy was overwhelmed with emotion, but it soon registered, and she said Yes!
