We're getting married!

Her Point of View: It was just another day at work, crazy busy as usual, when my boss walked into the office with two guys. Little did I know I would end up marrying one. They both chatted with me for a little and I don't even remember what was said. Like I said, I was very busy that day. Next thing you know, Matt got my number and we went on a date a week later. Exactly a month after our first date, Matt asked to court me and the rest is history. His Point of View: My sister, Lexi, was in labor for a very long time. We were getting restless at the hospital so we decided to go drive around. We ended up going to the Carpet Shop where Katy was working. The first moment I saw her I knew she was special. I managed to get her number to ask her on a date. I've been falling more in love with her every day since.

Her Point of View: All I knew was that we were going to the beach for a week with his family, little did I know I would come home with a fiance! We drove down Friday night and everything was normal to me. That next morning Matt and his dad told us they were going to get donuts and golf balls (no i did not pick up that anything was off yet). They were gone a very, very, very long time. Lori did a great job of distracting me by helping me pick out my outfit for our dinner that night (she told me it was her favorite restaurant there so we had to wear something super cute.....no I did not catch on to anything yet). Once the boys were back, we all packed up to spend some time at the beach. Looking back now, Matt looked stressed, uncomfortable and fidgety, basically he couldn't relax. So then we went back to the house and to get ready for dinner. Then we went over to the Stinnette's house so we could take "family pictures" (yet again, I did not have any idea what was about to happen). Matt basically ran inside and upstairs to talk to Chris, I thought it was weird but ignored it because he's a guy. Since it was raining we decided to go to the Barefoot Golf Clubhouse to take pictures on their wrap around porch. Looking back now, I remember Matt keeping his hand in his pocket the entire time. Lexi, Chris and Layla got their picture taken first and then told us it was out turn. So I stood there smiling and the next thing I know is Matt is telling me, "you know I love you right?" and I said "yes." Then he got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. Thankfully everyone had their phone out taking pictures and a video. It was the most romantic, rainy proposal ever! His Point of View: I had it all planned out. I picked the perfect spot on the golf course, but then it started raining. My plans were ruined, I was a nervous wreck, and had a very expensive ring in my pocket that I didn't want to loose. Thankfully I had the best support system and she said YES!
