Bride
Katy is the daughter of Bob and Sheri and the older sister to Jonathon. Katy was born and raised in the Atlanta metro area and is a southern girl to the core. She loves being outside hiking, camping or whitewater rafting. She is passionate about serving her community and educating others, which is part of what led her to her career in EMS. When she is not busy saving others, you can find Katy helping educate parents on the safe use and installation of their car seats. Katy is an aunt to 2 beautiful little girls (Harper and Mackenzie), who are serving as today's flower girls. The girls are Katy's world and the reason why she stays broke half the time. Katy is beyond excited to walk down the aisle and marry her best friend and love of her life, Mat.
Groom
David "Mathew" , is the son of Gwyn and the older brother to Philip and Rayna. Mat was born and raised in Cario, Georgia and moved to Dacula his senior year in high school. Mat works as a quality control inspector for a local company and drive Katy crazy with all his knowledge of math and measurements. When Mat isn't at work you can find him at the park with his 9 year old son Samuel. He may even say Samuel is the reason he landed Katy (it's kinda true). Mat is a Navy veteran and has lived all over the US and even had a small sent in Abu Dhabi. Mat and Katy fell in love rather quickly and as Mat says, he knew from the first date he was going to marry her. We cannot wait to celebrate this day with all of our family and friends.
Father of the Bride
Well Dad, it's happening... your babygirl is finally getting married. I am pretty sure you have been excited as well have been dreading this day my entire life. I mean for one you finally get to hand off my financial responsibilities to someone else, but at the same time I am getting married. I know the emotions are endless for you as they are for me. I want to thank you for always guiding me and pushing me to find someone better, clearly I needed a LOT of help over the years, but here we are finally, I have found a man who treats me exactly how you would want. Again, thank you for helping make this day one that dreams are made of, I can't wait to have you walk me down the aisle in October! I love you!
Mother of the Bride
Mom, well I guess mother really does know best. Like I told dad, I have truly been blessed with the guidance you have both provided me over the years. While I didn't always listen right away, I can say looking back, that you both knew what you were talking about. I pray that Mat has meet all of your expectations in the type of man you want your little girl to marry. I cannot wait to enjoy the planning with you, especially all the shopping (don't tell dad)! I love you and am so excited to celebrate my special day with you and all my close friends and family.
Mother of the Groom
Matron of Honor
Katie and I have been friends for well over 20 years! We originally met in 6th grade at Five Forks Middle school and remained in contact throughout high school, but didn't become besties until college. Katie is married and has two adorable children, who consider me as a bonus aunt. Together Katie and I have completed NINE consecutive Peachtree Road Races, and even one when she was 6 months pregnant! I never thought I would run a 10K, much less a mile, but Katie totally guilted me into my first one and well, we've been at it ever since. Katie has been through it all with me, from break ups and losses of family members, to a memorable ER visit after I stapled my finger. However having her stand by my side while I marry my best friend is the highest honor she has given me.
Maid of Honor
Kearstyn is my spirit animal! We met while I was attending Kennesaw State University working to obtain my nursing degree, where we struggled our way through math modeling and organic chemistry (which lets be honest we bailed on very quickly). After a few semesters of giving nursing school our best try, we both decided to give that idea up (for the time being) and pursue our Paramedic license. I have to say I did a great job rubbing off on her. We have spent plenty of time having #spiritanimaladventures and today is no different. Having this chick stand by my side is a no brainer (plus if something goes awry, she is now a legit paramedic).
Best Man
Bridesmaid
Oh where do we even start with this one. Morgan is my "newest" bestie, but she fell into the role at the most perfect time possible. I met Morgan after I moved to the Chattanooga area about 3 years ago, I knew no one at the time and this sweet little thing was also a tech in the ER at Erlanger with me. When I met her, Morgan was pregnant with her second daughter and with in a few weeks of meeting left on maternity leave. Once she came back to work we became quick friends and have since shared many of crazy nights together. Morgan is my go to girl for taco Monday, a last minute concert at The Signal and the one I know will be up for shenanigans any time! She has a heart of gold and my prayers are that she is soon standing in the same position as I am.
Bridesmaid
I have always wondered what it would be like to have a sister and now I will be gaining one. Rayna is the sweetest soul you will ever meet, she is smart, hard working and extremely talented. Rayna will soon be graduating from Dacula High School and will be attending UGA in the fall with plans to study pre-med. Rayna is a jack of all trades playing golf for her high school golf team, singing in the choir and slinging that CFA chicken like a boss. I am extremely happy to have Rayna standing by my side as I marry her brother. I can't wait to be a part of the family.

Peet, your sister is finally getting married! You know, I figured since I was born first, the least I could do was let you get married, buy a house and have kids first. After all you did learn a lot from me so I figured why not learn some things from you. To be honest though I truly have learned a lot from you and Sarah, I have learned that communication is important, that date nights are a must and that sometime no matter what you do, you're going to have bad days. I hope that Mat meets all the requirements you have for a man that is to marry your sister. Thank you for all your advice over the years, it has truly gotten me to where I am today. I cannot wait to celebrate this huge day with you and watch my beautiful nieces help me walk down the aisle. Love you peet!
Flower Girl
Harper is my 5 year old niece and my little ladybug. She is the sparkle that fills any room, the smile on a rainy day and the most lovable little lady you will ever meet. Harper is a strong headed little lady, just like her aunt and some days you would think she was 13, but those little smiles will win you over every time. I am so lucky to have such a beautiful little lady to be with me as I marry Mat.
Flower Girl
Mackenzie is my 2 year old niece and my doodlebug. This girl has no brakes, she is always on the go and has more energy than any kid I know. She is stubborn and has a huge personality, but she loves like no other. You can always catch M with a smile or goofy grin on her face. She loves her big sissy soo much and having them walk down the aisle together as my flower girls makes this aunt's heart so happy. Oh, and yes there will be cake!
Ring Bearer
My sweet Huddy Buddy, how crazy our story is. You were the light that I needed during my darkest times, your goofy personality and sweet loving nature can make the worst of days seem not so bad. I am beyond grateful that God placed you in my life and that he also brought along your sweet momma. You are tough and determined and I know without a doubt those rings are in some good hands with you (let's be honest, he will just hold fake ones). I love you more than all the stars sweet boy and I cannot wait for you to be my ring bearer.
