How we met: Jesse had just moved back to Pittsburg, KS and Katy was in her third year at Pittsburg State University. They both found themselves at Mooremans Southside bar on a Friday night in October 2018. It was Alumni Weekend for the college and Jesse was visiting with some friends that he went to school with. Katy was with a friend that went to high school with Jesse, so he decided to introduce the couple to each other. After a little bit of talking and some extra encouragement from Jesse’s friends, they decided to go on a real first date at Guadalajara Cantina.
