Worcester Art Museum
The Worcester Art Museum (WAM) offers a fantastic collection of art and artifacts dating as far back as 3,000 BC. In 2013, the WAM acquired the Higgins Armory collection that used to be housed in a separate location called the Higgins Armory. Admission: Adults: $16 Seniors (65+): $14 Ages 4 – 17: $6 Ages 3 & under: FREE
Elm Park
Katy spent many an afternoon running laps around Elm Park as part of training for crew. It's much prettier now than it used to be. Fun fact: it was designed by the Olmstead Brothers who also designed Central Park in New York City.
Wormtown Brewery
The official beer of the Nowoswiat Weissman wedding!* Wormtown brewery began down the street from Clark University in the little brewery attached to Peppercorn's Restaurant. They now have a great location on Shrewsbury Street that we definitely recommend checking out. Jack's favorite Wormtown beer: Be Hoppy.
Volturno Pizza Napoletana
Jack's favorite restaurant for Neapolitan style pizza.
Armsby Abbey
A great spot for craft beer lovers and food snobs alike.
The Sole Proprietor
Katy and Jack went on at one least date here, and Jack spent many nights here with "the bros." Great for delicious seafood and sushi. Check out the Late Night menu for some great deals.
Mezcal Tequila Cantina
Must try: house made guacamole (in many different flavors) and delicious margaritas.
Bocado Tapas Bar
True Spanish style tapas and drinks. A little pricier, but great for sharing small plates.
Coney Island
A Worcester institution and something every Worcester college student must try. Jack's recommendation: "The Works" hot dog with a Polar Orange Dry. Cash only.
Annie's Clark Brunch
Katy's go to breakfast spot for 5 years. Tell Megan and Annie (the cook), "hello!" Get the pancake (yes, just one) - it's bigger than the plate!
Vincent's
One of Jack's favorite dive bars/lunch spots. Known for their meatball sandwiches and on draft Naragansett beer. Cash only.
BirchTree Bread Company
A newer spot in Worcester. Great for fresh baked bread, delicious sandwiches, and a hipster vibe.
Golemo's Market
Where the Nowoswiat family goes for all of their Polish favorites! Be sure to visit their bakery just a few doors down for fresh baked babka, rye bread, and other amazing treats.
Greater Good Imperial Brew Co.
Their "Pulp Daddy" IPA was recently named best IPA in Massachusetts! A great spot for delicious beer. Hungry for more? Head across the street to DaCosta's for some great pizza.
Ciao Bella
A delicious Italian take out place. Portions are massive. Cash and credit.
