We are working out the final timeline right now, it we expect the arrival time to be around 3pm. Please keep an eye on this website and your email for updates!
All attendees must show proof of vaccination or negative Covid testing. To meet the testing requirement, there are three choices: (1) a PCR test taken within 3 days of the event, (2) a PCR test taken within 5 days of the event and a Rapid test taken upon checkin to the venue, (3) a Rapid test taken within 3 days of the event and a Rapid test taken upon checkin to the venue. Currently, the East Bay is in a Covid surge and we expect that will be continue to be true on the wedding day. We will update via e-mail any changes and reminders as the special day approaches.
We understand not everyone will be able to travel for our big day, especially in these times. We will be live streaming our ceremony as well as parts of our reception for those that can’t join us in person. We would also love to visit those that can’t attend at a later time!
Our wedding venues capacity is limited, so we can only accommodate those who are invited. It will be clear on your invitation whether you can bring a plus one. Please let us know if you have any questions.
The ceremony and cocktail hour that follows are outdoors. The dinner reception will be indoors if it is safe to do so. However, we are waiting to see how pandemic conditions trend for the next couple of months before making a final decision. If there is a surge, dinner will be held outside in the gardens.
Our wedding is children-inclusive! However, please do not bring anyone that is not listed on your invitation, as we are not able to accommodate anyone above our guest list. Please let us know if you have any questions about this.
Dress code is formal, fancy, etc. Use your best judgment. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, so be prepared for a bit of summer heat — sunglasses are encouraged! The evenings may be California chilly, so you may also want to bring a light sweater.
There is a lot at our venue that has a capacity for 55 cars. If this fills, there is plenty of nearby street parking as well as parking lots for the adjacent public park.
The Gardens at Heather Farms in Walnut Creek, CA. The address is: 1540 Marchbanks Dr, Walnut Creek, CA 94598
The same site as the ceremony — no travel is required between the ceremony and reception.
Expect it to be hot and sunny during the ceremony and happy hour. We recommend bringing sunglasses and sunscreen. For dinner, we will either dine outside under umbrellas or in an air conditioned hall, depending on pandemic conditions. Evening dancing will be in the reception hall, but it might get chilly enough for warrant a light sweater or jacket.
Yes, please come hungry! A happy hour with appetizers will immediately follow the ceremony. After this, dinner will be served.
As much as we would love for furry friends to be present, there are no pets allowed in the reception hall. We ask that you please leave pets as home :(
