From mom to best friend, I can confidently say, April has always been the "fun one." I've always known I wanted her right by my side at the alter! She is my greatest role model and an inspiration to all of the women in my life. I am proud to be one small part of her massive legacy. She has accomplished so much in her life, but nothing speaks to her strength quite as much as everything she has already overcome in 2020. She is my hero.

The best man and a darn good man at that. Although he’d rather be climbing, Daniel live and works in Argyle, TX accompanied by 4 kiddos, River, Jimmy, Brave, and TBD with his wife and my sister-in-law Erica. I’m blessed to call him brother.

Our moms were each other's maid of honor, and they passed on their friendship to us from birth! Chan is truly the sister I never had. She is a professional photographer based in Dallas, TX, but is a Kansas girl at heart - Rock Chalk Jay Hawk! Chan embodies every quality you would want in a best friend - loyal, wise, fun, steady. She's the kind of friend who shows up when you need her. I am constantly inspired by her passionate pursuit of the Father's heart.

An intellectual that can hang with best, and yet prefers to surround himself with us regular folk, Willy is the best of both worlds. Won’t take long before you have learned a thing or two from him. Quite possibly the only other person who loves LANY & dislikes a certain team out in Waco as much as I do. Rach is married to Hunter & they share their daughter Rainey & their dog Moses, who Rach considers a frenemy. Although they've been Texas residents together for awhile now, Rach sports Chief's gear all around Dtown! Rachel brings the party with her wherever she goes, so you'll find her in the middle of the dance floor come March 6.

One of the most athletic specimens on the planet, even though he’d complain about knee pain the whole time. Wesley is dear friend whom I met in my college days and we’ve been close ever since.. sometimes too close. He’s a pretty smart guy too, and has the pleasure of matrimony with wife Brianna and father of son Deaton.

My favorite person in the world to mess with and the only girl I know who prefers whiskey to wine. Mary is a PT in Dallas and truly has the magic touch. If you throw your back out on the dance floor, she's your girl! Mary has been one of my dearest friends while in Dallas, and I am truly blessed by her steady wisdom. One of my favorite things about Mary is her natural ability to comfort, which is one of the many reasons her clients & friends adore her!

C Dawg has known me longer than most, with high school, Texas A&M, and now Dallas in the books. With the ability to run a marathon with no training, Colin will run circles around you all the while running his own company and being a husband to MC and father to Holland and Doc.

We met at Lindsay & Lauren's housewarming party, and fell for each other at Lindsay's home in Florida. Without Linds, we wouldn't be celebrating on March 6! I knew Linds & I would be besties when we were the only two people still dancing at a Cinco De Mayo party after everyone else had gone. Be sure to wish her a happy birthday at our wedding, she's turning the big 3-0 that day!

One of the wittiest guys in the game, Eric has been a buddy since the college days. As roommates and vacation buddies, we’ve been able to spend a lot of time together. The Trader Joe's queen herself! Lauren is the greatest Dallas tour guide, and I've loved exploring our city together. Lauren is also your best resource for clean products - ranging from makeup to wine! Although Lo is from sunny California, she's been working for a positive media outlet in Dallas for several years now. She also attended the greatest university on the planet, TCU - GO FROGS!

Equal parts smart and muscular, Jake has the ability to beat you across the table and in the weight room. He’s finally made the trek back to Texas, and I’m excited to get to hang with him as the years go on. He also has the best beard in the game.

Forget Dak, Erin is the Cowboy's greatest asset! Erin is our resident sports girl. Watching an Auburn game with her is an experience I highly recommend - this soft spoken girl gets LOUD for her Tigers! Erin's been working for the Cowboy's organization for several years now in their sponsorship division, and her identical twin works for the Raiders in Las Vegas. Erin has been my go-to travel roommate and I will miss her pillow talk now that I'm getting a new roommate!

How many times does your boss become a close friend? Hardly ever, but Sean is the exception. After meeting him at camp during the summer months in college, Sean and I have been buddies ever since, and are even co-leaders together in student ministry. Bring up wanting to play a board game or a thought provoking question on culture, and you may get more than you asked for. Sean is husband to wife Emily and father of two beautiful girls, Harper and Annie.

Sammy is definitely the coolest girl I know. Her eye for fashion and home design is truly unmatched. I am so appreciative of Sammy's sweet friendship and solid wisdom. We are also the same enneagram number, so you could say I'm biased. Sammy is a Kansas girl working for a Kansas based brand out here in DFW called Nickel & Suede. If you haven't heard of them yet, I highly suggest you stop by!

From roommates in college to almost roommates in the same neighborhood in East Dallas, Ricky has been a close friend for years. Ricky is a faithful friend with a big heart, even though he was accused of getting me into CrossFit. Ricky is a married man of 5 year to wife Kim.

Erica is one of the two sisters I'll be gaining on March 6th, and I couldn't be more excited to share a last name with her! Erica is married to Grant's older brother, Daniel, & they share 4 insanely cute children - River, Jimmy, Brave & a new baby coming in December, all of which you'll see on March 6th coming down the aisle. Erica has too many strengths and talents to mention - but I am particularly inspired by her passion for what is good and lovely.

Emily Smith (formerly Josey) is one of the two sisters I'll be gaining on March 6th! Emily is Grant's younger sister who is married to her childhood crush, Hayden Smith, who she lives with in Houston, TX. The thing I admire about Emily most and knew about her before I ever met her is that she is a fast and loyal friend. Even people in Dallas said to me when Grant & I first started dating, "Oh, that's Emily's brother!" Her friendships spread far & wide.

The only Oklahoma representative on this list and that might be one too many. Layne has been a close friend for years and it wouldn’t be right to not have him stand up there with me, even if he's tried to bring out my trendy side at times. As an official married man come December, Layne just barley beat me to the alter. Congrats Layne and Hannah!
