Katy's Version: I was walking through Madison's, spending time with my friends minding my own business when this obnoxious man starts cat calling me. I absolutely ignored the sad attempt to gain my attention (hello DRA.. for all my ABA fam). But sure enough he was persistent and came to talk to me instantly trying to spit his game. If anyone knows me, they know I need to know everything about you if your going to get any of my time. So I started the typical grilling him with questions. What's your name? He answered truthfully.... What do you do?.. he said burger flipper, proud grill mastered at Sonic.... so I answered and told him where I was working. Berkshire Hathaway. His face instantly lit up! He instantly changed his tone and told me about how he's trying to build a subdivision with his cousin and how I have to know him and so on. I'm instantly skeptical because he just told me he worked at Sonic. I even snapped a picture of us and sent it to Ryan (his cousin, my co-worker at the time) to verify he was who he said he was. Now he is frantically trying to prove it, showing me plans (that I had already seen many times from Ryan) and pulling up his name on the plans to prove to me he isn't a creep. Hehe. He was maybe gaining a little ground when my friend that was driving grabbed me said it was time to go...... We almost missed the best blessing of our life.... but that persistence I was telling y'all about well yeah it was absolutely a quality that describes Mr. Arnaud. The next morning he called up Ryan and instantly asked for my number. (Also, Why Ryan sent it without asking me... still unsure)lol. This man called... not texted... called and asked me to dinner and told me exactly where he was bringing me. To LongHorn Steakhouse. It was all over after that, I remember having the most genuine conversation, hours after getting the check we kept talking, an absolute gentlemen. It was always so natural. I instantly knew I could tell him anything and he still always looked at me like I was most perfect person in his world. The love that started in this very moment has proven to be heart-stopping, exhilarating and all consumingly beautiful. Chris's Version: All though I'd never call Katy a liar..... I remember things a little bit differently..... Yes, I was in Madisons on the patio right after Hurricane Imelda with some Entergy guys. When a beautiful blonde hair girl wearing a short dress walked outside with a friend (some guy- irrelevant ). Yes maybe I said something when she walked by, but within a couple minutes she was back... and standing right in front of me at the bar. So I asked to buy her and her friend a drink and we talked for 30 minutes to an hour then she leaves. While talking I realized that before fate had even taken over, Ryan had been telling me I needed to come to the office and meet the new girl (this girl). The next morning I realized I made a terrible mistake and forgot to get her number so I called Ryan and he pulled through and sent it right over. He's the MVP lol
