Katy and I first met at a friend’s house in March of 2023, although we caught each others’ eye much earlier than that.
Katy noticed me at a concert her freshman year. She immediately asked her friends if they knew who I was, only to quickly give up when she was told I was a senior. A couple months later, I saw Katy at a party and asked one of our mutual friends for introduction but was quickly denied.
Katy and I finally met a year and a half later on a friend’s porch where we found we had some pretty good chemistry and more importantly very similar music tastes. That summer we began texting and calling while she was at camp and I finally asked her on a date that July!
A little over a year and a half later, through lots of big life changes and a year of long distance, I asked Katy to marry me on April 11th, 2025! I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with someone so beautiful, funny, caring, graceful, and devoted. Praise God for putting Katy in my life!
