Julia and Katya met in college at Syracuse. They had a class about race and the media. They instantly became friends when Julia raised her hand in class and said, "I'm Jewish and my boyfriend is black..." They became very close working in Utica, NY trying to survive the winters.

Chris and Katya met in Syracuse. Katya was Chris' RA. Clearly she didn't do a very good job keeping him in line because all of these years later, they're wreaking havoc together.

Devon (a.k.a. Von) is Jerrell's oldest brother. Jerrell has always looked up to Von as a role model and started playing baseball because of him. Jerrell was Von's best man and Von will do the same for him.

Jeremy is Jerrell's uncle. He was always his biggest fan but also his biggest critic. His entire life, Jerrell could count on his Uncle Jerm being in the stands...and on his wedding day he'll be by his side.

Thaddeus (a.k.a. Pooch) and Jerrell met when Jerrell first moved to Milford in the fourth grade. They started playing baseball together. Pooch was a very good pitcher until Jerrell came to Milford and replaced him on the mound. Jerrell obviously stuck with baseball--Pooch did not. But the friendship remains as tight as the seams on a baseball.

Alvino (a.k.a. Vino) and Jerrell met in high school through Pooch. They instantly connected. When Vino started going through troubles in life, Jerrell was always by his side. Now, Vino will stand by his.

Keith and Jerrell met when Keith moved to Milford in high school. They lived down the street from each other and became close because of football. Jerrell will never let Keith forget the time he got laid out at the Woodbridge game. You can ask Keith about it at the wedding.

Quinn and Jerrell met in elementary school. They were always in line together because their last names started with "A" and to this day Jerrell still can't get rid of him. Now, he's following Jerrell all the way to Puerto Rico.
