While Alyssa and Jake didn't officially meet until their freshman year of high school, their story began long before that. Their moms, Robbie and Nicole, worked together at Greenbrae Elementary School while they were pregnant. That led to a joint baby shower. Then, they attended pre-school together at Caughlin Ranch Pre-School. In sixth grade, they both went to science camp at Grizzly Creek Ranch where they were in the same group. However, neither of them remembered any of this, and the Freshman Ice Cream Social was their first "official" meeting. After that, Alyssa and Jake nurtured their friendship first, sharing classes and the stage. After accidental matching Halloween costumes in October of 2018, they officially went from best friends to a couple in November that same year. Nearly 8 years later, they are still best friends, and they are more than excited to finally tie the knot and spend the rest of their lives the way the universe intended all along: together.
