Answer

We're aiming for muted colors inspired by nature—think soil, stone, foliage, wood, and the sky. These tones reflect the world and create a warm and cohesive look. Shades like terracotta, sage, taupe, rust, olive, and warm browns all fit.

Is the reception venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The entire celebration will take place indoors, so no need to worry about the weather! Our venue overlooks the Occoquan River, offering great views and photo opportunities. There's also a balcony accessible throughout the evening—perfect for a breath of fresh air.

What if I have food allergies?

Answer

Our reception will feature buffet-style catering, which means the caterer cannot guarantee the complete absence of certain ingredients, including nuts and gluten. If you have severe food allergies or dietary restrictions, please reach out to us in advance so we can arrange an alternative meal option tailored to your needs.

We understand that Friday travel in NOVA can be a challenge—thank you in advance for making the trip! Please note that the Express Lanes on I-95 begin running southbound starting at 1:00 PM on Fridays. Keep in mind that these lanes use dynamic pricing. If you’re carpooling with three or more people, using an E-ZPass Flex set to HOV mode can help you avoid tolls altogether. Safe travels—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
