Taxi, private car, or bus! “SayulitaLife.com” has great resources for hiring a private car service! And you can book a round trip with them for cheaper.
Sayulita is about 45 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta international airport.
Golf cart or walk! The town is so small and so are the streets. So having a car is a little inconvenient. There are plenty of places to rent golf carts from on Sayulita Life! They will deliver it to your hotel or Airbnb.
Unfortunately there will not be parking available at the venue. But we will be providing a shuttle service that will start pick ups in the Sayulita Plaza at 3:30pm. The shuttle will start taking people back to the Sayulita Plaza at 10pm- 11:30 pm. There will be three shuttle buses that will have signs that’s say “Katrina and Trevor’s Wedding- Villa Valentin”. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask us!
We have worked really hard to create an intimate celebration that includes all of our closest family members and friends so we ask that you come solo unless we know your other half well! Thank you for your understanding.
When in Mexico be bold….but also remember it is going to be hot! We are in the tropics baby! So consider that when planning your outfit. Cocktail attire. Dress to impress. Wear a fun color or print. It’s a fiesta after all.
The ceremony and reception will be outdoors!
There will not be any parking for guests at the venue. Please catch our shuttle!
Your little groms are more than welcome to come to our celebration!
Deadline is April 15th.
Of course we’ll miss you! But life has other plans sometimes. Please just let us know at your earliest convenience if for some reason your plans change.
YES. As per the new 2022 guidelines from the CDC, “Before boarding a flight to the United States, you are required to show a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 1 day before travel. There is also an option for people who have documented recovery from COVID-19 in the past 90 days.” Children under 2 years old do not need to test. “The test must be a SARS-CoV-2 viral test (nucleic acid amplification test [NAAT] or antigen test) with Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) OR the relevant national authority where the test is administered.” https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/international-travel-during-covid19.html There are a few places in town that you can take a antigen test (which is allowed) and your results will be sent to you in 3 hours. Use Sayulita Life to schedule an appointment, or walk in to the places you see in town. If you pay in pesos they will give you a discount.
Yes and no. Mainly, they want you to use pesos. We recommend ordering pesos through your bank beforehand. It will take two business days to deliver to your bank and you pick it up at the bank. There are ATMs here in Sayulita that will allow you to take out pesos, but the ATM will charge you $5 every time. We do NOT recommend exchanging money at the airport as they will give you a horrible exchange rate and you end up loosing a lot of money.
Yes! We have never run into any problems or have felt unsafe in Sayulita. Everyone is really kind.
Tacos y Mariscos El Rinconcito - local seafood. We absolutely love this place. It’s really authentic and insanely cheap. The shrimp Gobernadors are our FAVORITE! They are like quesadilla taco hybrid. Their homemade chipotle crema and avocado crema is insane. Tropical Cafe - An affordable and delicious option for authentic Mexican breakfast. We love the chilequillas. Tierra Viva - Another affordable delicious option. Our favorite coffee in town so far! They also have amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner! We love the shrimp tacos, easily our favorite shrimp tacos we’ve found so far. Al Pastor El Talivan - STREET MEAT! The best Al pastor in town. There are many zones. But this place takes the cake. Trevors favorite is the Gringas (they add fried Oaxaca cheese)! You can get two gringas for $70 pesos ($3 usd).
So far these are our favorite zones! If you’re balling on a budget, look at the menu before sitting down. There are so many places where a meal is from $2-$7 bucks. You’re going to run into a lot of places you see a bunch of tourists at (like Italian restaurants, etc) they’ll be over priced for what it is ( about $50 bucks for dinner for two including drinks) but if you’re over Mexican food it’s worth a shot if you want to spend the extra money. We’ve tried a lot of street vendors and we’ve noticed they’re cheap and if locals are lining up, it’s probably iconic.
