Do you have rooms reserved?

Answer

Carmel Mission Inn is extending a guaranteed rate to our guests. You can make your reservation by calling 1-800-348-9090. Please mention that you're with the Brewer-James Wedding. Rooms start at $219 a night. The hotel requires a two night minimum stay. Reservations must be made by 04/23/18 to take advantage of the group rate. It is 1.6 miles from the downtown area of Carmel, but there are two shopping centers (The Barnyard & The Crossroads) within walking distance.

We encourage you to make your reservation as soon as possible. June is a popular and busy time for Carmel.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

During the month of June, the average temperature in Carmel ranges from low 50s to high 60s. It is probably a good idea to bring layers.

Why doesn't Carmel-by-the-Sea have street addresses?

Answer

Carmel-by-the-Sea's early residents chose not to practice house- to-house mail delivery in favor of a central post office. To this day, residents in this area still receive their mail at the central post office, and there are still no street addresses, parking meters or street lights, and no sidewalks outside of Carmel's downtown commercial area. However, many homes are given fun names by their owners. You will see them if you stroll around the neighborhoods. Some examples are "Hansel," "Justin Time," and "Dreamcatcher."
