We're getting married!

In 2014, both Ron and Katrina were single parents looking for love on the internet. They both created profiles on OKCupid, although Ron likes to joke that it was CougarsOnly. Katrina found Ron's profile and read his introduction. He wrote that he had a young daughter who asked him why he didn't have a girlfriend. Since he didn't have a good answer, he decided to look for one. Katrina found that message along with his handsome smile to be quite attractive, and she wrote him a long, personal message. Somehow, before it was sent, something went wrong and not only did she lose his message, but lost his profile all together. In a panic, Katrina searched the website for hours trying to find that sweet, good looking man. Finally, she found him again and explained all that she went through to connect with him. What luck! Not only did that introduction from Katrina not frighten him off, he kind of liked the sound of the single mom in a nearby town. He thought she was cute and she was interested in him...BONUS! Our first meeting, our first date, was about a week later. Ron drove from Reno to Carson City to meet Katrina and go out to dinner and a movie with her eleven-year-old sons and one of their school friends. Any man willing to do that, Katrina thought, must be a great guy! We went to Buffalo Wild Wings and then to the movies to see Mr. Peabody and Sherman. We were quite comfortable around each other from the beginning, and before Ron left the parking lot of Katrina's apartment, he messaged her what a great time he had and looked forward to seeing her again. We both feel so lucky to have found each other through the internet. The odds were definitely not in our favor. But we have already built a wonderful life together and we are thrilled to make everything official.
