Do I need to stay in one of the cabins you have rented?

Answer

No, however, please let us know in advance if you do not plan on staying in a cabin we have booked.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE CABIN?

Answer

Full Kitchen. Pots, pans & cooking utensils. Eating utensils, glassware, & dishware. Kitchen towels. Coffee Maker & Coffee Filters. They do NOT provide Coffee, so be sure to bring your own. Outside BBQ Grills: A propane gas BBQ grill is provided for each Cabin, when you are finished please turn off the propane tank. The propane is complimentary and limited to 3 gallons per visit. If you need additional propane gas, contact management, and they will provide additional propane for an additional charge, subject to availability. A Charcoal BBQ grill is also provided for each Cabin (some are shared with other Cabins). You need to bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. Outside BBQ grills of any kind may NOT be used on Red Flag Days. If you are in doubt about Red Flag Days call 928-225-7620 or 928-735-2304 or call the Greer Fire District at 928-735-7279. The number and size of beds and fold-down sofa beds or sofa sleepers are listed on the website under the individual Cabin descriptions. The maximum number allowed in a Cabin is listed on our website, for instance, “Cabin Sleeps 6”. You may have up to 2 additional persons in a Cabin over the maximum for $20pppn. They do not provide any extra bedding or blow-up beds or cots. Flat Screen Television with complimentary Satellite Direct TV. Hand Soap at Sinks. They do NOT provide Shampoo, Conditioner, Shower/Tub Soap, or Bubble Bath Soap/Granules. 1 Bath Towel, Hand Towel, and Wash Cloth Towel per person. Sheets. 1 Pillow per person. 1 Blanket per bed. Toilet Paper. They do NOT provide daily housekeeping service. They clean your Cabin after you check out.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO GREER?

Answer

Coffee. Coffee is NOT provided in the Cabins. There is a Coffee Maker and Keurig K-Cup Coffee Maker. Food & Drinks: We suggest you get your groceries in big cities such as Phoenix, Tucson, Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside, and Springerville-Eagar. The Lazy Trout Convenience Market in Greer has a limited supply of groceries. The closest Grocery Stores are 15 miles away in Springerville-Eagar. Clothing & Additional Blankets: Greer is at 8400’ elevation and temperatures are usually 30 degrees cooler than Phoenix and Tucson. Be sure to check the Weather Report for Greer Temperatures and Weather Conditions. The evenings in Summer are cool and usually require a sweater. Bring extra blankets for the cool temperatures; they provide only 1 blanket per bed. Toiletries: The Cabins do NOT provide toiletries. They may be purchased at the Lazy Trout Convenience Market. Games to Play: They have free loaner board games in our office. Many of their guests bring Board Games, Playing Cards, etc. DVD Movies: They have free loaner DVD Movies in the office. DVD movies may also be rented at the Lazy Trout Convenience Market. Fishing Poles: Fishing is very popular in Greer. There are 630 miles of trout streams and 22 lakes within a 30-mile radius of Greer; so fishing is very popular. If you want to go fishing for trout, you will need to bring your own fishing equipment. The Lazy Trout Convenience Market has a limited supply of fishing equipment to purchase.

HOW IS THE CELL PHONE RECEPTION IN GREER?

T-Mobile: Brand New T-Mobile / Cell One Tower with 3G, 4G, LTE including High-Speed Internet, is next door to the Greer Lodge Resort & Cabins. Your T-Mobile or Cell One cell phone should get great reception and your phone connection to the tower should give you good access to the internet. Verizon: New Verizon Tower with 3G, 4G, LTE including High-Speed Internet, is located in the Town of Greer, approximately 3 miles away from Greer Lodge Resort & Cabins. Your Verizon cell phone should get great reception and your phone connection to the tower should give you good access to the internet. Sprint: Acquired by T-Mobile in 2020. Contact your provider to see if your Sprint Phone can access the T-Mobile / Cellular One Tower. AT&T: Most AT&T phone users say it's good reception/service. Some say it's bad. Please phone provider for more information. If your Cell Phone does not have good service during your stay, you can rent one of the Greer Lodge Resort & Cabins’ Private Portable Hot Spot Devices for $20 per day and you can have your Cell Phone access the Wi-Fi Network on your Rented Hot Spot Device to give your Cell Phone (regardless of your Cell Phone provider) good phone service as well as having access to high-speed internet. WE WILL NOT BE PAYING FOR THIS SERVICE! IF YOU WOULD LIKE WIFI, PLEASE PAY FOR IT USING YOUR OWN CARD/CASH.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS PROVIDED BY GREER LODGE:

Maximum Occupancy in each Cabin. Up to two babies 2 and under are not counted. Violations will cost you a $250 fee charged to your Credit Card on file, and you are subject to eviction with no refund. DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS. If upon departure we determine that items are damaged or missing from your Cabin, you are responsible for payment thereof, and we will apply the appropriate charges to repair or replace the item to your Credit Card on file. SATELLITE TV. Satellite TV is provided as a convenience only and is not integral to your stay. No refund of rents or adjustments shall be made for outages, content or personal preferences with regard Satellite TV service. In this rural area we are occasionally at the mercy of weather or other outages. At the present time we offer Direct TV Satellite service. WI-FI HIGH SPEED INTERNET. Private Portable Hot Spot Device. Guests can rent an individual Private Portable Hot Spot Device at the front desk for an additional $20 per day EXTRA BLANKETS, PILLOWS AND TOWELS. We provide one Blanket per bed; one pillow per person; and one Bath Towel, Hand Towel and Wash Cloth Towel per person. Sorry, but due to the capacity of our resort laundry we are unable to provide additional Blankets or Towels. If you require more, we suggest you bring extra ones with you for your stay. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you are staying for more than 2 nights, we will provide fresh towels & sheets upon request after the 2nd night. HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE. Housekeeping Service in our Rooms & Cabins is provided after Check-out. Daily Housekeeping Service is NOT provided. If you are staying for more than 2 nights, we will provide fresh towels & sheets upon request after the 2nd night.

UPON YOUR DEPARTURE CLEAN THE DISHES & PUT FURNITURE BACK IN ITS ORIGINAL LOCATION. In our Cabins, we require that you clean your dishware, glassware, and pots/pans prior to your departure. In Cabins we require that you return all furniture to the location it was in upon your arrival. Violations will be charged a $100 fee, charged to your Credit Card on file. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING. We strictly enforce our "No Smoking" policy inside the Cabins. Violations will cost you a $500 fee charged to your Credit Card on file, and you are subject to immediate eviction with no refund. Smoking outside is permitted unless there is a Red Flag Day. Please do not throw cigar or cigarette butts on the ground. OUTSIDE FIRES. Outside fires or fireworks are not allowed on Greer Lodge Resort & Cabins property, except in designated fire pits, but only if you obtain a fire permit from the Greer Fire District at 928-735-7279. OUTSIDE BBQ GRILLS. Outside bbq grills of any kind may NOT be used on Red Flag Days. PARKING. Parking at the property is limited. The following lists the number of parking spots allotted to each Cabin: Each 1- or 2-Bedroom Cabin is entitled to 2 Parking Spaces for standard size cars, trucks or SUV’s. Each 3 Bedroom Cabin is entitled to 3 Parking Spaces for standard size cars, truck, or SUV’s. Each 4 Bedroom or larger Cabin is entitled to 4 Parking Spaces for standard size cars, truck, or SUV’s. We are not able to accommodate RV’s, Motor Homes, or Travel Trailers. ATVs. Riding ATV’s and dirt bikes on the property is prohibited. QUIET HOURS: "Quiet Hours" are from 10pm to 6am. Please be considerate of your neighbors. Violations are subject to immediate eviction without refund at the sole discretion of the management. LOST AND FOUND POLICY. We are NOT responsible for any items left behind in your Room or Cabin after departure. If items are found, we will contact you by phone and/or email.

WHAT DO I DO WHEN I LEAVE ON MY DAY OF DEPARTURE?

Checkout Time is 10 am. The Office is located at 80 Main Street. Please leave your key(s) on the table in your Cabin and lock the door behind you. Close all windows and doors. Turn the Thermostat down to 60 degrees upon departure. Thank you for helping conserve energy. Put interior and exterior furniture back in the same location that you found it. Clean the pots, pans, utensils, dishware, and glassware.

The dress code for the ceremony is semi-formal, please be aware that temperatures will be in the 60s/70s during this time of year and will cool down after sunset!
