Marquis met JB when he was drafted to the St Louis Rams back in 2010. Coming off a Superbowl win with the Giants, JB was tasked with being the sole leader of the the Rams defense. Marquis was told to sit next to JB and for 2 years he learned from one of the smartest Safetys in the NFL. Fast forward eleven years later, their relationship ranges from business ventures to being the best hookah makers. They are both "PK" (Preacher's Kids) and relate in a lot of ways. Their love for music truly grounds them.
Kristen "Kris" Hopkins

Kristen and Katrina been close friends for over 15 years meeting freshman year at Deleware State University. Both Geminis and former business partners, at one point in time, if you saw Kristen, you seen Katrina. Only 3 days a part, Kristen and Katrina have so many memories it would take a decade to tell. (Remember when you, Ashley, and Candace got tatoos from the stranger in Dallas during Allstar weekend lol).

Justin and Marquis have been friends for 20 years. Aside from their college years, both have managed to always live within 20 minutes of each other. While they make the most threatened 2 on 2 basketball tandem, their friendship stretches far beyond the court. Living in the same neighborhood, both having a love for basketball and raised by single mothers, Justin is not only Marquis' bestfriend, but he considers him to be his brother.
Sheree "Ree" Artis

Katrina's Gemini "twin" and one of her long time and most loyal friend, Sheree and Katrina met at the skating rink when they were just 14 and 15 and have been friends ever since. They have so many "take to the grave" stories that would keep them laughing for a lifetime.

Marquis and Chris have been friends for over 10 years wining a NCAA National Championship title with the Alabama Crimson Tide. When Marquis and Chris get together, don't blink because you will be sure to miss some action. As his former teammate, frat brother, and confidant, Marquis is greatful Chris (a Florida Boy too) is one of his best men.

Katrina and Candace met in 2005 at Delaware State Universtiy and have been friends ever since. Traveling all around the world together (Bahamas, Spain, Thailand), Candace is Katrina's spirtual sister, and they can speak to each other for hours about almost anything! Hey frienddd!!

Marquis looks at Byrd like a big brother. Marquis trust and knows Byrd has is back. It's an inside joke within their crew that Byrd hears and sees everything. For that very reason, Marquis considers Byrd to be one of his most trusted confidants.

Since 2010, Katrina and Cymone bonded as friends both working for the same tri-polar boss. They both share a love for the Philadelphia Eagles and have shared so many "take it to the grave" moments over the years.

Khanesia "Nesia" Hill

Khanesia aka "Nesia" was Katrina's first friend in ATL. Interning at a local event planning agency, Katrina and Nesia became friends within the first week of them working there. Nesia has been a great friend to Katrina, always telling her like it is, and continues to be one of her spiritual sisters to this day. Remember the time in DR when we were welcomed into the house of a bunch of Stepford Wives and "we" well maybe I pretended to be a Sports Illustrated model?

Marquis met Courtney during their freshmen year of college when Courtney would steal the dance floor and ignore all greeks strolls coming through lol. Marquis considers Courtney the brother he loves and hates. Courtney is kind and has a big heart. He is very honest and is going to be blunt with anyone he encounters. Although Marquis and Courtney are frat brothers, Marquis considers them to be brothers.

Jonnie aka "JoJo" and Katrina have known each other since 2009, but hit the ground running, never looking back over 6 years ago. From random trips to Europe to stories that aren't made for sharing JoJo and Katrina and have shared countless milestones with one another.

Friends since 14, Ebony is one of Katrina's long time childhood friends. From ending up in places they had no business being in to getting one another out of countless situations lol, Ebony and Katrina share so many memories to even count.

Former teammate, frat brother and friend, T. King and Marquis won a NCAA National Championship together playing for the Alabama Crimson tide. Their brotherhood goes beyond 10 years. T. King def has a big brother little brother complex with Marquis. He picks on him and jokes on him everytime they get together but one thing for sure, the brotherhood that Marquis, T. King and Chris aka the three stooges, share is that when together they always stand out and have each others backs.

Friends for over 18 years, Danielle is one of Katrina's best friends from childhood. Ohhh the memories they share from clubbing since the age of 14 (Dances on Girard Ave and 8th St. Lounge) lol, the skating rink, H&M (we were blessed that day), and a shrew of other memories we shall NOT mention, Katrina couldn't walk down the asile without her.

Paris is literally Marquis's brother from another Mother. Being from Detroit, Paris displayed a sense of loyalty Marquis never seen from a friend in such a short period of time of meeting each other. Paris is someone Marquis can count on in any situation 24/7. If ride or die had a defintion, Paris name would be right there.

Meeting at Delaware State University, both Communication majors, residing in the same Freshman dorm, and residing together at APT #322 for over 3 years, Natasha and Katrina have been glued at the hip for over a decade.

Marquis's Dad may look like his brother or you may mistake them for twins but he is "Pops" in every way. By way of the Johnson's name and guidance, Marquis followed in his Dad’s footsteps by making the same career choice, playing in the NFL. He salutes his dad for helping him understand the value of friendship and the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people. It is safe to say Marquis’s groomsmen have been selected with the mentorship of his father.

Tom is Katrina's Dad, Friend, Homie, and First Love. He is the man who showed her what love looks like, and always keeps it real and relevant. The one quote, that Tom told Katrina almost 15 years ago that will always stick with her is, "one moment of pleasure could lead to a lifetime of misery." Katrina is proud to have her Dad walk her down the aisle.
