We’ve moved!!

This means there are some changes!

We wanted to share a quick update as we prepare for the big day. Since sending out our wedding invitations, we’ve moved, which means the after-party address listed on the invitation is no longer correct. Please note that the after-party will now take place at our new home located at 255 Dionne Way, Stokesdale, NC 27357. We sincerely apologize for any confusion and truly appreciate your understanding. We’re so excited to celebrate with you and are grateful for your love and support. Warmly, Katrina & Justin

How he proposed...

12.6.2024

I had been not-so-subtly badgering Justin (pun totally intended) to take me to see Christmas light displays. I must’ve sent him at least 15 to 20 different places to check out. Luckily, he picked up on my very subtle hints and planned a festive date night about an hour from home to kick off the season. I was so excited—this was our first light display of the year, and I was ready to soak in all the holiday magic. As we wandered through the glowing paths, we came upon a stunning section where two rows of tall trees were lit with bright white lights. It felt like stepping into a winter fairy tale. As I walked ahead toward the next part of the display, I turned around—and there he was, down on one knee. I was completely shocked. It was the sweetest, most magical moment, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. On the way home, we called our families to share the news (and the happy tears). I couldn’t stop staring at my ring—and I still catch myself smiling just thinking about that night.

How we met...

8.1.2022

Anyone who knows me knows that the beach has always held a special place in my heart. It’s where I feel most at peace—and, as it turns out, it’s also where our story truly began. Justin and I first connected through phone calls, text messages, and exchanged photos. As we got to know each other from a distance, it quickly became clear that we wanted to meet in person. On a whim, I invited him to join me and my friend Chris for a casual beach day. I wasn’t sure he’d accept, especially since it meant driving two and a half hours just to be there. To my surprise, he did. Not only did he make the long drive, but he arrived with warmth and a willingness to be present and genuine. We spent the next two hours on the beach, talking and sharing pieces of our lives. The conversation was easy, and something just clicked. After he left, Chris and I reflected on the experience—exactly as friends do. Later that evening, Justin and I picked up right where we left off... and we haven’t stopped talking since. Fast forward to today: we are joyfully planning our wedding and building a life together. I am so grateful for the incredible man that Justin is. His presence in my life has brought love, strength, and a sense of peace I never knew I needed. I am truly better because of him.
