In the Greek culture, when we get married in the Greek Orthodox Church, we ask someone close to us to be our "Koumbara” or “Koumbaro” (sponsor). This person plays an important role in the Christian life of the married couple. Marietta is Katrina's Godmother/aunt and has been like a second mom to her her whole life. She used to babysit her when she was little and take her on many fun vacations. Being with her through it all, Katrina couldn't imagine walking down the aisle without her Thea/Nouna by her side.

Although she doesn't care for the "matron" title, Stefanie is Katrina & John's Matron of Honor. She is Katrina's younger sister and best friend. Stefanie plays such a big part in Katrina's life. From playing softball together when they were little to going out for cocktails and brunch as adults, they have never been closer.

Having the best beard on the team is a heavy burden but Marty carries it with grace and humility. Being able to balance man-grooming, worldly knowledge, and his great sense of humor with ease.

Jessica and Katrina have been friends since the beginning of high school (we won't say how many years ;)! A mutual friend brought them together and Katrina is forever grateful for that. Jess is an amazing, caring and giving person and her Kat's most trusted confidante. Katrina is so lucky to have her in her life!

Renee and Katrina have also been friends since the beginning of highschool! They were in cheer together in a stunting group together. Those memories started a great friendship, and to this day are still close. Renee is the sweetest person and is always ready for a good time.

Linda and Katrina have also been friends since highschool! They also were college roommates and Alpha Phi sorority sisters. So many good memories.... from the Spice Girls concert in 2008, to college frat parties to adulting and owning houses, they've been with each other through it all. Now they are planning their weddings together!

Let the dad jokes commence. George has the super human ability to turn any situation into a hilarious dad joke. He might be "Nature-ly" challenged, with thinking camping is staying at a Hilton Garden Inn, no one holds a candle to his mutant power over the uber-eats. Being able to summon beer, food, and apple pies on command.

Lex and Katrina met in college when they became Alpha Phi sorority sisters. They instantly connected, having the same interest in country music and.... 2000s rap music ;) They have so many great memories together from being initiated into Alpha Phi, late night study/McDonald's coffee runs to full-on adulting. Lex and Dave just had a beautiful baby, Alina and Katrina can't wait to spoil the heck out of her!

They both have a passion for fitness and always did everything together in college. Such an exciting time for them both... they are both planning their weddings and bought new houses!
