Once upon a time, in the heart of the Sunflower State, two paths crossed at the vibrant Czech Fest in Wilson, Kansas. It was there, amid the lively polka music and the aroma of sizzling sausages, that Isaac and Katrina's story began. With a little help from fate and a nudge from our mutual friend Brady, our worlds intertwined. While Katrina's roots were firmly planted in Wilson, Isaac hailed from the nearby town of Russell—a detail that only added to the charm of our unfolding story. Our chance encounters grew from fleeting moments at local sporting events to meaningful conversations in the aisles of the grocery store where Isaac worked. It wasn't long before we realized that our connection was something out of the ordinary. In 2017, a decision as simple as forgoing a school dance in favor of pancakes and laughter marked the beginning of our forever. Under the warm glow of iHop's neon sign, Isaac and Katrina had their first date, a night filled with syrupy sweetness and the first of many shared smiles. A month filled with anticipation later, Isaac asked Katrina to be his girlfriend. Our bond deepened with each passing day, through lake days basking in the Kansas sun, shared laughter with friends and family, and cuddled-up evenings with scary movies that weren't nearly as thrilling as our own love story. Fast forward to November 2023, under the twinkling lights of her sister's wedding, with "Keep Your Hands to Yourself" by The Georgia Satellites serenading us in the background (and a big shoutout to Kendyl for keeping the secret), Isaac took the leap and asked Katrina to be his partner for life. And she said yes! Now, as we stand on the threshold of a new chapter, we are filled with joy at the thought of sharing this beautiful day with all of you. Our journey together has been nothing short of a fairytale, and we can't wait to celebrate our love surrounded by the people who have made it all the more magical.
