The location of the wedding ceremony will be at the Justice of Peace in Gretna, Louisiana. The address and location will be at 200 Derbigny Street, Room 2100 on the 2nd floor at 2:45 PM on April 4th, 2025. Please make notice that not everyone will be to view the ceremony, due to attendance restrictions. However, the matriarchs of both the Miller and Gaines family will have priority. All are invited to the reception!
No, they're not mandatory to give; but it would be pretty nice of you to give if you do have the means. As said by Katrina Miller, we quote: "Cash gifts are accepted." So, you know what to do ;)
We're still discussing the details and getting everything down-packed, so as of now; there is no set place for the wedding party yet. There will be an update soon!
The dress code for the wedding aligns with the theme colors: mint, grey, and white. Please dress accordingly!
The seating situation is simple, really. Older family and friends in the front, younger family and friends in the back! We're doing this out of respect for the matriarchs in both the Miller and Gaines's family. Otherwise seatings are free! You can sit wherever you want to, just not in the section you know you're not supposed to be in. Thank you!
We get it! Everyone eats differently, as do we. You don't have to make a special request because we're already planning to include food allergies and diets into our food menu for the wedding.
We'd like an RSVP from you and your partner, or you and your plus one by March 15th! This is just in case we need to make some adjustments at our venue and change seating. Please do keep in mind though that you will have to travel for this wedding, so please prepare accordingly.
Yes, actually! Louisiana has multiple cities and parishes, so that means there are a TON events to have fun at and attend before going to our wedding. There's park train rides, rollercoasters, and much more if you'd like to explore around Louisiana, but our Wedding Ceremony will be in Gretna.
Well then...you're just not available. No worries, you can still send your blessings and gifts through mail and with an invited guest going to the wedding.
