Question

How will COVID-19 affect the wedding festivities?

Answer

Dear Friends and Family, We wanted to check in given the changing travel climate due to the coronavirus outbreak. At this time, our wedding is being postponed to May 8th, 2021. We were saddened to move our date, but we recognize there are far bigger issues occurring in these unprecedented times. Nevertheless, we're excited to spend time with all of you when our big day finally comes! If you have booked your hotel stay, please reach out to them to change your arrangements. At this time the state of Vermont has a multi-household event restriction and travel quarantine mandate that has been extended to February 15th, 2021. The Essex suggests that these restriction will be lifted and at least 75 guests will be able to join us on May 8th, 2021. We will know more within the next few weeks if our plans can proceed and will keep you updated in a timely manner. We appreciate your constant support and patience during this time. Stay healthy! Love, Chris and Katrina

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a hotel block at the DoubleTree by Hilton, or you can stay at the Inn at Essex where the ceremony and reception will be held. Please see the "Travel" tab for more information.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! You can find parking right in the front of the venue or circle around the back for more spots.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Great question! We want everyone to be comfortable, so please dress cocktail-style (suits & dresses). We anticipate an outdoor ceremony, so bring a light jacket/sweater, as Vermont weather is always unpredictable!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you're invite says, "and Guest," of course! Please just RSVP accordingly so. If your invite does not contain this, we'd love to have only you there!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love little babes! Invited children will be included when you RSVP online. We want you to thoroughly enjoy your night celebrating with us (kids or no kids), so please let us know personally if you would like to bring your kids, so we can best accommodate your family!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered here on Zola & have linked other stores on the "Registry" tab!

Question

Can I request a song?

Answer

Please use the song selection box when RSVPing to request your favorite song. We will try to accommodate the best we can!
