We met at Providence College on Friday the 13th in October of 2017. Alec ended up going to the wrong school for a party with his friends and Katrina’s friends convinced her to go out with them that night. Katrina and Alec ended up bumping into each other that night and have been inseparable ever since.

Over the first 6 years of our relationship, we would take turns moving into each other’s parents houses for days at a time just to spend as much time as we could together. We have grown to love to travel with our favorite being San Francisco. We were finally able to move in with one another when Katrina got into Physician Assistant school in Worcester, MA in 2023. We now enjoy making new traditions and just living life everyday together.

Alec proposed to Katrina at Pier’s Park in East Boston on September 28, 2024. Alec grew up in East Boston and has so many special memories there with his family. He wanted to show Katrina around his city so she can finally see where all of the stories took place. He took her to Constitution Beach where his Nani and Pop would take him frequently, stopped at Royals Roast Beef and then to Pier’s Park. That is where he arranged with Katrina’s cousin Gina to be hiding to capture the moment he proposes to her. Later that night, he surprised her with their families at a restaurant waiting to celebrate!
