Train
If you fly into CDG (Paris) you can get to Bordeaux by taking the TGV (speed train) from Montparnasse. You could also fly to Bordeaux (with a connection in Paris). Buy train tickets ahead of time. A month in advance is best. We suggest flying into Paris at least one day before you take the train to Bordeaux. Arrive to the Train station about 40 minutes ahead of time. Travel Note
We recommend staying in or around the Saint-Émilion , Libourne, Moulon régions for the wedding events taking place from the 17th to the 19th. Guest houses are really the way to go. Hotels aren’t really prevalent in the area. Try looking the following places listed below up in google maps or booking.com. If you need any guidance on where to stay please feel free to reach out! Shuttles will not be making trips to and from Bordeaux on the day of the wedding. If you would rather stay in the city of Bordeaux you will need to provide your own transportation to the venue or to the pickup/drop off points in Saint-Émilion/Moulon. Please book any cabs/ubers/drivers in advance. They are hard to come by in the country side. Rental cars are recommended if you are staying in Bordeaux for the wedding. There is a train that will take you from Bordeaux to Saint-Émilion. Get on the TER and ride it three stops to Saint-Émilion.
Shuttle
September 18, 2024 2:30 pm - 2:30 am
A shuttle will be making pickups in Saint-Émilion and Moulon on the wedding day. We will update this when we have more info on pickup times and meeting points. Please reach out once you have booked your accommodations so we can arrange shuttle stop locations. The shuttle will be running for wedding events only. If you would like more freedom to traverse the area we suggest getting a rental car. There are plenty options at the Saint Jean Bordeaux train station or at the Bordeaux airport. GPS works great in both the city and in the countryside of Saint-Émilion. **Keep in mind that most rental cars in France are manual transmission. If you need an automatic make sure you specify before hand and make your rental reservation in advance.
