There are plenty of nearby accommodations, including hotels and Airbnbs. We decided not to reserve a hotel block because there are so many options, each offering different amenities and locations. We'll be staying at the villa where the wedding celebration will take place.
Flight
The closest airport is San Jose del Cabo International Airport (SJD). Many cities offer direct flights to SJD via various airlines such as United, Alaska, Delta, and American.
Travel Note
There are many different transportation options in Cabo San Lucas. The airport is a 35–45-minute drive to downtown Cabo San Lucas. Some transportation options include: -Uber -Taxis -Shuttles booked through hotels -Rental cars We prefer booking Ubers when traveling to Mexico because Uber verifies all of their drivers, the price is confirmed by the app, the app is in English, and we always feel safe. Additionally, many hotels offer shuttle services that can be arranged in advance, providing a convenient and often cost-effective way to reach your destination. If you prefer more flexibility, renting a car is also a great option, allowing you to explore the area at your own pace.
Travel Note
If you are visiting Mexico and arriving by airplane, you must carry a current passport. If your passport is expired the airlines will not allow you to board the aircraft. Please confirm that your passport has 6 month from your return date before expiration. Passport cards are not valid for international air travel. Each guest has the responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport prior to departure.
