We met at the infamous Brick Street Bar, known to most as just "Brick". We matched on Tinder around Thanksgiving in 2022 and were casually talking and getting to know each other. The Miami Baseball team was hosting their annual Christmas party at Brick Skybox, so Connor sent the invite over to Katlynn and told her to stop by with her friends. She showed up with a whopping 10 of her friends! We instantly hit it off when Katlynn talked Connor's ear off and beat him in the drinking contest she made up in her head!

Connor popped the question in North Carolina during the All-Star Break, Major League Baseball's only week off during the season. He invited Katlynn, her family, and his family under the disguise, as it was the only time everyone was free to come visit him. On July 15th, he brought Katlynn to a beautiful arboretum in North Carolina to "take pictures". Katlynn was completely suprised all thanks to her friends lying to her face.
