We got married in South Africa! Join us to celebrate!

We met two days after Christmas during a get together a friend had organized. We chatted the whole evening. Marcus visited the museum the next day to see the exhibition I had told him about. We visited some more and he formally asked me out to dinner. It was almost a month later before we got to go on that date, but it was completely worth it.

Marcus was leaving town for work so we decided to have dinner at the Petroleum Club in Fort Worth. I had to work late so I met him there. We were enjoying dinner with a friend when Marcus suggested we see the Christmas tree in Sundance Square since he may not get the chance again because of work. We walked to the tree after dinner with our friend and as we were arriving our friend had to "take a phone call." Marcus jokingly proposed with a light up ring. I thought it was sweet. He then formally got down on one knee and proposed for real! I was so surprised and thrilled! Our family and close friends were there to celebrate with us.
