We’re getting married!

We met through online dating, and I made the first move by messaging him, “Let’s go get some tacos & tequila,” a fun nod to his bio. It felt like a playful way to break the ice, and to my delight, he was just as enthusiastic. Our first date took place at his house, a necessity during the pandemic. We enjoyed some drinks while chatting about everything under the sun. There was an instant connection—I felt comfortable and at ease, as if we had known each other for years. Once things opened up, our first “real” date was at 54th Street. Although we didn’t have tacos and tequila that time, we enjoyed great drinks and delicious food. The chemistry between us was undeniable, and I remember thinking how natural it felt to be together. In that moment, I knew he was the one. The way we clicked and the warmth I felt in his presence made it clear that this was the beginning of something special. Looking back, I’m so grateful for that initial message that led me to him.
