Clayton and I have been best friends for over a decade, and I can still remember the first day we met. I got dared to call him cute at the skating ring, I thought he was very cute as a little 9 year old girl so I went ahead and did it. I’ll never forget the big smile he gave me. He asked me to skate with him so of course I said yes. We became best friends ever since. I looked forward to Friday because that meant I’d get to see him. He asked me to be his girlfriend somewhere in between that time and even though I didn’t know what it meant to be someone girlfriend I said yes. I was in awe over him my friends would always get an earful when it came to Clayton. My friends swore up and down we’d have kids and get married and live that happily ever after every girl dreamed about. We thought the same way. He was my first kiss and my first love. Sadly, we got older. The place we met closed down I moved away and we went our separate ways. We didn’t talk for about two years, we met other people and although we would always think about each other, we never reached out. It wasn’t until I went to one of my best friends birthday dinners we seen each other again. When we looked at each other it had felt like no time had ever passed. I truly believe that soulmates will always end up together. No matter how much love gets lost, no matter the distance there was, if it’s meant to be it’ll be. We lost each other to find each other again. That’s how we knew we were meant for each other. So we got back together on October 25th of 2019 and even though we we’re still “kids” we knew we loved each other beyond measures. We hung out every weekend, talked all day and all night. We always knew we wanted a life together but never knew it would come so fast. June 5th of 2020 I found out I was pregnant with our first baby Mr Cason Alan. We we’re both terrified and unsure of what to do other than just be there for one another. He stepped up I mean really stepped up and of course that made me fall more in love with him. Nine short months later we had our boy. He was so much like both of us and he truly brought us closer together. We worked very hard and finally got our first home together where we still live together. August 17th of 2022 we found out we were expecting another baby. Our beautiful little girl. The first thing Clayton told me is “we always knew it would it up this way, it’s what we wanted” and even though we didn’t want it to happen that quick while we are this young it did and we wouldn’t trade it for the world. We love the family we created. I am so proud of us. As if things couldn’t have gotten anymore exciting Christmas of ‘22 came and I became a FIANCÉ YALLLL!!!! Which led you here. I am so excited to say I will be a MOORE March 7th of 2024. I couldn’t think of a better person to spend my life with. You are always looking for a best friend in your spouse but I decided to make my childhood love and best friend my forever.
