Formal attire is a step up in formality from Cocktail attire. For men, a classic suit or tuxedo including a tie. Tuxedos are NOT required. Women should wear a floor-length gown, evening cocktail dress, a pantsuit, or dressy separates.
If you are staying overnight at the Palmer House or would like to take the shuttle to and from the reception we suggest you park at the self park parking garage at 55 East Monroe Street. Also overnight Valet Parking is available at the Palmer House on the Monroe Street entrance
Yes! There is parking in the school lot located behind the fire station located at : 363 W Hill St.
The Cultural Center does not have onsite parking. Nearby parking garages are located at Grant Park North Garage (25 N. Michigan Ave.) Grant Park South Garage (325 S. Michigan Ave.) Millennium Park Garage & Millennium Lakeside Garage (5 S. Columbus Dr.).
We suggest grabbing a drink or relaxing in the beautiful Palmer House Lobby. It is one of my favorite places in the city! If you are not taking the shuttles and parking by the Cultural Center, there are a bunch of bars and restaurants nearby. I have them listed on the things to do page.
