Newlan Creek Reservoir

Old mining town that turned ghost town - plan for 4wheel drive and that’s only if the snow is cleared by June!

Castle Town

Nice trail (5.1 miles one way) back into mountain lakes where the trout fishing can be great!

Hidden Lakes

Shorter hike (1 mile) down to a fun mountain lake to catch some trout. Steep gradient down and then back up—make sure you wear appropriate shoes. Flies and spinners both work well

Camas Lake

Sluice Boxes State Park

Easy access and very short hike to a couple small waterfalls. 0.3miles to the falls from the parking lot and approved for all ages/abilities!

Memorial Falls Trailhead

Enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot springs. If you are a guest at the motel, access is free (I believe), but you can still get day passes if you are not staying there.

Spa/Hot Springs

Another hot spring located in Paradise Valley outside Yellowstone Park. ~1 1/2 hr drive from WSS but worth the trip!
