Morgan was 16 years old and had his first job: cashiering at Newport Wal-Mart. Katlin shopped at the Wal-Mart often and noticed Morgan. She asked around, and everyone said that Morgan was a nice guy. Shortly after the two met, they began dating. The rest is history.
Morgan and Katlin were high school sweethearts, but the couple graduated high school in 2014. Katlin went onto Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, and Morgan attended Arkansas State University- Newport in Newport, Arkansas. The couple saw each other every weekend and through the week. With a great interest in aeronautics, Morgan joined the Air Force in the spring of 2016. He then attended basic training and technical school in Texas. Fast forward two years, and now the groom continues his Air force Career at Little Rock Air Force Base. The bride is completing her education at Harding University with a degree in Business Finance. The couple now are pet parents to a German Shephard named Hercules and a Tortoishell cat named Callie. The bride and groom can't wait to live happily ever after with their fur babies in Ward, AR.
The engagement was expected! The bride is not the type to be surprised, and she even picked out her own engagement ring. The couple went on a mini vacation to Monroe, Lousiana. Morgan took Katlin to a botanical garden, five star restaurant, and a wooded park. These were all perfect moments for a proposal! The soon to be bride expected a proposal all day long. On the ride home at 10:00 at night, Morgan pulled off on a Lousiana gravel road and got down on one knee. It was just Morgan, Katlin, headlights, and the night sky. The one that can never be surprised got the greatest surprise ever.
