COVID-19 updates

Hello Everyone. We Recognize the incredible uncertainty of the world as we all adapt to the impacts of COVID-19. We wanted to share that at this time our wedding will be happening as planned and we look forward to celebrating with all of you on August 7th, 2020. We are prepared to take every precaution necessary to make our wedding safe for our guests, but we also understand and respect that every person and circumstance is unique. We ask that you please respect our decision to continue on with our wedding as we are so excited to start our future together as husband and wife! Thank you for your love and support, in person or from afar! Love, Katlin & Eric
Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

With the CDC allowing up to 25 guests indoors and 100 guests outdoors we will be moving towards an indoor/outdoor layout. Throughout our entire reception you will have access to both indoor and outdoors to allow you to maintain social distancing.

Question

Are masks a requirement?

Answer

If you are staying in the hotel, masks are required in all hotel common areas. A wedding is considered a private social event so with that being said masks are encouraged but not required. Masks are not required while sitting at tables. Masks are encouraged but not required while guests are up mingling around.

Question

Can we dance?

Answer

This couple is not going footloose on you! Dancing will be allowed for all guests without over crowding the dance floors. Couples and families in the same household are able to dance together while others are encouraged to maintain social distance. We ask everyone to respect each other in situations such as these and understand that everyone's level of comfort may differ.

Question

What will your ceremony look like?

Answer

Ceremony will take place outdoors with limited seating. Seats will be appropriately spread out. Due to the space in which we are getting married we ask if there is not a seat available then you stand and socially distance among yourselves. There will be plenty of room to stand below and above the rock garden in which we are getting married! We are aiming for a shorter ceremony so you won’t have to be standing for long.

Question

What does cocktail hour look like?

Answer

After the ceremony our guest will be guided to Cocktail hour which will take place outside. Food and drinks will be set up inside the terrace room as a buffet style with protective screen from the food, servers and you. There will only be allowed 25 people in the room at a time to collect food and drink and then they are asked to bring it outside to enjoy!

Question

How many people are allowed at a table?

Answer

We will be seating our guests at tables of 6 or 8 based on their comfort level. The tables will be spread out as much as possible. We will encourage guest to remain at their table once they are seated but obviously the bar and the bathrooms will remain open during this time.

Question

Are guests allowed to stay the hotel?

Answer

Yes, The Heritage Hotel is fully opened and offering hotel services. Check their website you have any question or concerns on guidelines they are following at their facility.

Question

Is bar service allowed?

Answer

Yes, the venue states that bar service is allowed as long as there are not large crowds sitting around the bar. The venue will have 2 bars set up in the terrace room throughout the entire reception. There will only be 25 people allowed in the room at a time.

Question

Do I need to still RSVP if I am still coming?

Answer

Yes to help with our planning purposes, please just tell us directly or email jayneodonnell2@gmail.com that you are still attending the wedding. Your meal choice will remain the same from your original RSVP back in May.

Question

If I can no longer attend how do I RSVP?

Answer

For our planning purposes please RSVP by telling us directly or emailing jayneodonnell2@gmail.com by July 15h. We would like to remind all of our guest that we fully understand that every person and circumstance is unique and we respect any decisions you come to!
