I had just moved to Sevier County and was pretty much all alone. It was the second day of school so I hadn't made any friends yet. Additionally, it was my birthday and I was so sad to be celebrating alone. Second period comes around and most of our class had gotten called to an assembly, leaving just us and one other person. I was extremely shy and wouldn't have said a word, but he invited me over. We talked for the rest of the period and got to know each other. He ate lunch with me that day to make sure I didn't celebrate alone! Fast forward a few weeks and we decided to give a relationship a try. Two years later we're engaged and even happier than ever before!!!

We had just graduated and were on vacation at Myrtle Beach. His parents told us to get up early for beach pictures and I just went with it, not really suspecting anything. I turn around to do a picture with me looking at the ocean, turned back around, and there he was down on one knee. I lost my hearing for about 15 seconds due to shock and excitement, but I absolutely said yes when I recovered!!!
