Our story begins on a hot summer day in June at Bruster’s Ice Cream shop. What was intended to be a quick introduction turned into hours of infinitely increasing interest. The sun set and stores closed, but our journey was only beginning. Separated by oceans, aligned by fate, and united under God, our instantaneous respect and appreciation for our differences transcended our early interactions. There was an inexplicable familiarity the feeling of prayers finally being answered. This connection was unique, our alignment was rare, and our intentions were clear: faith, family, and preparation for our future. Over the years, we’ve enjoyed exploring the world together, from the streets of New York City to the peaks of Appalachia and kayaking in Crystal Springs. From sporadic camping trips to peaceful park cookouts, our most cherished memories are simply the ones we made with one another. Through the challenges of life, we charted a path guided by faith.
