We first met on Katin’s second day, at CBI in Yucca Valley California at a Ryan Ries revival night. She started off by saying hello and introducing herself to Jagger all scared and nervous she found him kind of intimidating… But really he was just awkward because he was thinking about how pretty she was! Next thing you know 3 months go by… and they barely speak! Every so often there was an awkward hello or happy birthday in the hallway… Another month goes by… somehow they end up talking and now it’s all about the Philippines and how much he can’t wait to go and how much she wants to. God provided the opportunity and they end up both being able to go! Meanwhile God is working on both of their hearts about pursing this possibility of a relationship… During this time God made it extremely clear to Jagger that Katin was definitely HIS wife! Next thing you know they’re on a plane and soon serving in the Philippines as missionaries together! Where they finally say “I love you” in front of the Calvary Chapel they’re serving at… After flying back from the Philippines they spend the rest of their summer in Canada enjoying dating before Jagger proceeds to propose in the gazebo on the harbor where they also shared their first date… 5 days before Katin flew back to finish CBI in California! Through months of long distance, and wedding planning over the phone, a couple of visits here and there… all of that led to this… us being here today!
