We actually met online, Surprise! Initially, we shared an interest in poetry and exchanged a lot of our written work. Mostly I did the sharing, of course. Over a few weeks of getting to know each other's interest, we decided to meet for dinner at a local restaurant. We met face to face, and it was official we had a connection and instant chemistry so, from that very first date, we nurtured a friendship that grew into Katina & Pierre 2019.

Well, it was an early morning surprise. I was just waking up, grabbed my phone to check the weather, and scroll mindlessly through social media. Pierre was coming to my side of the bed just casually talking. All I could think to myself was, why is he up so early? So he took my phone from me and began to tell me how much he loved me and loved our life together, and how he could not imagine not spending the rest of his life with me. Then he got down on one knee and asked if I would do him the honor of becoming his wife. and of course, I said "Yes!" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. if we had it our way, all of us would be on a Caribbean beach this weekend with some exotic drinks in hand, enjoying 80-degree weather under clear blue skies. Since our parents have been patiently waiting for a ceremony though, we decided August nuptials would suffice.
