If you are staying at a hotel, your hotel reservation may include shuttle options to and from the airport. You can always email or call the hotel to arrange drop off and pickup. I'd also recommend the followig: 1. The best option is to get a Taxi to and from the airport. Please note that Taxi’s require payment in pesos. You can also plan book ahead and carpool with anyone who is coming in at the same time as you. As most of you are staying at Costa Sur you will be requesting to go to Zone 3 aka Mismaloya. I'd recommend booking through Aeromovil PVR - Transfer Service Airport of Puerto Vallarta. 2. Ubers are not allowed inside the airport, but if you exit and walk to the left, there is a bridge that takes you to the other side of the highway, and an Uber can easily pick you up there, or you can sometimes find other taxis waiting there. 3. Lastly is the private transport companies. I recommend booking with VIP Vallarta Transportation: Agency Travel Puerto Vallarta *We will be sending an email out with some of this info*
Beach Formal: For women, opt for a tea- or ankle-length dress with straps or short sleeves. You could also choose a formal jumpsuit. ***Ladies avoid pumps, stilettos or any style that will make you sink into the sand. Instead, opt for dressy sandals, wedges or shoes with a flat sole or chunky heel. Men's formal beach wedding attire still calls for traditional wedding apparel: a jacket, slacks and a crisp button-down shirt. To keep cool, choose lightweight, breathable fabrics like linen or cotton, or consider a seersucker suit. You'll also want to wear formal dress shoes and thin socks. Avoid shorts, hats, flip-flops or open-toe shoes.
Men - think Linen pants or a dark wash jean with a button-down short sleeve, or long sleeve or sport coat. Heck maybe even wear a floral or Hawaiian shirt. A nice shoe, and please for heavens sake I do not want to see any toes! Ladies - Think midi or maxi summery dresses, keep in mind we will be on a boat so I would suggest nothing too short due to the wind. Jumpsuits and rompers are also great options. For shoes a wedge, espadrille, block heel, or nice sandal will do!
While we love kids, please note that this is a “mostly adults-only” wedding.
The daytime temperatures are usually in the mid-80s. At this time, the nights and early mornings can still get a little chilly, so it's important to always have some extra layers handy. Rain is quite uncommon in January, so you can expect dry air and no mosquitos.
There are a ton of options for hotels and Airbnbs at every price point and any number of guests. You can view the "Travel" page for our recommendations. You can look in Zona Romantica, 5 de Diciembre and El Centro, which are lovely neighborhoods in the middle of historic downtown Puerto Vallarta and about a 12-minute drive to the venue.
On the day of the wedding there will be shuttles taking people from the hotel to the wedding venue. Please meet in the lobby no later than 4pm.
idk walk jk you can always call an uber to Hacienda Palo Maria :D Ubers in Puerto Vallarta are safe!
