Spring Formal. A formal dress code is a step below black-tie and a touch more elevated than cocktail attire. Since it is a springtime event, we kindly encourage guests to embrace the season by choosing cheerful colors or floral styles if they are able. Ladies are invited to wear a long or midi-length dress, while gentlemen are requested to wear a suit (ties are optional but appreciated). Please note that the reception will take place outdoors on grass, so we recommend selecting footwear that is suitable for the terrain.
Yes! A complimentary shuttle bus will be available for guests traveling to and from Highlands County. The shuttle will depart from the Tru by Hilton hotel in Sebring at 3:30pm and travel to New Hope Baptist Church in Wauchula for the ceremony. Afterward, it will continue on to nearby Buckhorn Ranch for the reception. At the end of the evening, at approximately 11:00pm, the shuttle will return guests to the Tru by Hilton. Because seating is limited, guests who are able to drive are kindly encouraged to do so. Ample parking at both locations will be available.
Each invited guest's name will appear on the inner envelope of your invitation and on the RSVP page, including children. For guests traveling from out of town who may need help finding childcare, please feel free to reach out to the bride or groom, we are happy to assist in any way we can.
We are especially grateful to our guests traveling from out of state. Your effort to be here means so much to us, and we truly appreciate the extra time and planning that goes into making the trip. Hardee County does not have its own airport, but the two most convenient options are Tampa International Airport and Orlando International Airport, each being approximately a 1.5 hour drive away. There are also several smaller airports surrounding our central Florida town if you prefer alternative routes.
