San Diego is pretty spread out, so renting a car can be helpful if you want to explore beaches, breweries, and tacos far and wide. That said, Uber/Lyft work well, especially if you’re sticking around the main neighborhoods.
Weather:
It’s San Diego, so odds are it’ll be sunny and beautiful. That said, coastal areas can get chilly at night—bring a light layer just in case.
What to Explore:
If you’re turning this into a mini vacation, check out the beach towns (La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach), Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, and of course—eat all the tacos.
