Travel & Things to Do

Hotel blocks, flight information, and other recommendations for our out-of-town guests!

Hotel

Hilton Minneapolis

1001 South Marquette Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55403

This hotel is located in downtown Minneapolis, only a few miles from our reception venue. Please note it is a (slightly) longer drive from this hotel to the ceremony venue, but it will make for a quicker ride home at the end of the night! This hotel is where the bride and groom are staying. Please book your room through the custom link below! Rooms must be booked by July 15 to qualify for our rate.

Flight

Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport

We love the MSP airport! It is located only a short trip from both St. Paul and Minneapolis, so any flight that works for you will be convenient!

Travel Note

Transportation

Ubers and other rideshare apps are very accessible around the Twin Cities - they are a great option to get to and from our ceremony and reception! However, public transit is not very common, so a rental car might be the most convenient option if you're planning to explore the Twin Cities throughout the weekend.

Things to Do!

SOCIABLE CIDER WERKS is the site of our very first date! Stop by for local cider and great outdoor space. The Twin Cities have lots of other fabulous local breweries, too - we also recommend Surly, No. 12 Cider, Pryes, and Summit Brewing! TABERNA, a Mexican restaurant right next door to the Beach Club, is where we went on our second date! This would be a great place to stop if you want to grab a drink or a snack between the ceremony and reception on the wedding day. THE CHAIN OF LAKES, including Lake of the Isles, Lake Bde Maka Ska, and Lake Harriet, are picturesque and perfect for an afternoon walk in the summer. Lake Nokomis is nearby and just as lovely! ST. ANTHONY MAIN is a small, charming neighborhood just across the beautiful Stone Arch Bridge. It's a worth a visit for local breweries, restaurants, and shops. THE NORTH LOOP is another fun neighborhood to explore with lots of bars and good food! SUMMIT AVENUE and GRAND AVENUE are two of our favorite streets in St. Paul! Grand is great for shopping and restaurants; Summit is perfect for looking at gorgeous houses and architecture. If you're on Grand, stop into Cafe Latte for delicious desserts.
