What is the dress code?

Answer

For the wedding event, we ask that our guests wear semi-formal, cocktail attire. (i.e. button down and tie, suit, sport coat, cocktail dress, etc. No shorts or flip flops, please!) Please also note, some of the resort restaurants do have a dress code for dinner. Men: please remember to pack a collared shirt, long pants, and closed toe shoes.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place outdoors unless in the event of severe weather.

What should I pack?

Here is a little packing list we put together for you: - Your Passport - Sunscreen & Aloe Vera - Bug Spray - $1 and $5 bills for tipping Resort Staff - Summer/Tropical Attire - Wedding Attire - Dinner Attire - Medicine & First-Aid Kit (Neosporin, Hydrocortisone Cream, Bandaids, Advil, Benadryl, Tylenol, etc.) You want to avoid buying any necessities at the resort gift shop - it is VERY expensive!

Do I have to stay at Finest Resort?

Answer

For the safety of both our guests and the rest of the resort, all wedding guests are required to stay at Finest Playa Mujeres in order to attend our wedding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If you have little ones, we would love to have them in Mexico! Finest Playa Mujeres is a family-friendly resort with plenty of amenities to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible when traveling both with and without kids. If you plan to bring your children with you, please reach out to Katie or Matt so they can be added to the guest list.
