They met on a random Tuesday night. If you’ve heard this one before, you can skip ahead! Katie was going to karaoke with the MOH Marissa, Joe was already a regular at J Clark’s karaoke night. Neither of us were from that area and we met by chance. Katie and Marissa were friends with Jean Marc who talked them into coming allllllll the way out to McCandless from Monroeville and Joe was there with Barbie and Matt who are also friends of Jean Marc. When Barbie introduced everyone around, We shook hands and there was a spark there. Katie kept eyeing him up from across the table while Joe kept trying to hide. Finally, Katie went up to him and started a conversation that ended in the exchanging of phone numbers. Well the next day, Katie anxiously awaited Joe’s text, but at 11, she decided to text him first, breaking that cardinal rule of dating! But it worked and they texted and called each other so much the next few days that the blossoming relationship turned into something very strong and real. What started off as sparks turned into a warm and cozy relationship.
