Henry swept Katie off her feet in September, 2017!

Henry and Katie met as ballroom dance partners and danced in several regional competitions. Our favorite dances are the jive, rumba, cha-cha and samba.

Our wedding officiant, Wade, has been photobombing us since our days at Carolina! Katie wore this necklace--Henry's first jewelry gift to her--on their wedding day.

Henry loves to experiment in the kitchen. We've loved creating unique dishes with ostrich, elk, gator, rabbit, squab, and octopus. We never turn down the chance to try something new!

We're filling our family recipe box to record our favorite dishes. Our first family heirloom is filled with recipes from our wedding guests and family <3

We got engaged at Duncan's Landing in California on April 6, 2024.

Henry's brother Peter, Katie's brother Carson, and Henry's friend Jered stood beside him at the altar.

Katie's dad walked her down the aisle to a slow instrumental cover of Concerning Hobbits.

We asked our family members to hold and bless our rings during our wedding ceremony.

Our wedding is one week after El Dia de los Muertos in Mexico. We took some time to honor our ancestors and grandparents who were with us in spirit on that day.

We danced our first dance as a married couple to Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce.

We didn't restrict ourselves to traditional ballroom dance moves.
