Can I R.S.V.P online?

Answer

No, there is not a place online to R.S.V.P. If you take a closer look in the pocket of your invitation, you'll discover an RSVP card along with an envelope already addressed and stamped. Please kindly fill out the card, slide it in the envelope, and pop it in the mail! We sure hope you can join us on our special day and look forward to celebrating with you!

Are you registered? If so, where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Crate + Barrel, Anthropologie, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and Williams Sonoma. You can access any of these registries from the Registry page on our website.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Love is in the air but we kindly ask that if you did not receive a plus one on your invitation that you not bring a date. We have spent a great deal of time narrowing down our guest list to fit within the space available at the Country Club. We thank you in advance for your understanding!

Is there a dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

Yes and no ... Cody and I want YOU (our guests) to feel and look your best on our wedding day but due to church and Country Club dress codes, we kindly ask that guests wear nothing less than business casual and refrain from wearing any denim.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. We have already expressed to the Country Club our need for all food to be 100% nut free. Beyond this, you may email Katie at katherinefranken@gmail.com with any additional allergen requests.

Do I need my I.D. at the reception?

Answer

Yes! The Country Club has made it clear that they will be carding any guest who orders a drink at the reception. These are their rules, not ours ... so we kindly ask you remember your I.D. if you want to enjoy the bar selection at our reception. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but as guests of the Club we want to abide by the rules they have in place. Thank you for your understanding.

What is the closest airport to the wedding venue?

Answer

Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) This is the closest airport to the wedding festivities but prices can climb quickly! Booking in advance is always a good idea and typically, Southwest flights can be found at a great price! Other airports within reasonable driving distance include Detroit, O'Hare (Chicago), and Midway (Chicago). All are about 3 hours driving distance from Grand Rapids and typically have less expensive flights.

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes. We have rooms blocked off at The Doubletree by Hilton Grand Rapids Airport which is a short drive to both Central Reformed Church and Cascade Hills Country Club. Please reference the Travel page for the link to our hotel block.

Is there valet parking at the reception?

Answer

Yes. Valet services will be provided at the reception. This service will be free of charge for all wedding guests.
