What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be located on the grounds of Middleton Place (4300 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414). The Inn at Middleton Place is located just up the road. For guests staying on the property, check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Early check-in, while not guaranteed, may be available upon request to accommodate the 4:30 PM ceremony time.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors in the garden. Guests will walk to the garden on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. Cocktail hour will take place outside the Pavilion, with dinner and dancing to follow indoors.

What date should I rsvp by?

We kindly ask that you submit your RSVP by January 1, 2026, along with your entrée selection.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire is requested. Suits and ties are appropriate for men, and long dresses or formal cocktail dresses for women.

Is there parking available? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

There is plenty of on-site parking available for guests at Middleton Place. For guests staying at the Inn, shuttle transportation will be available to the ceremony site at 3:45 PM on 1.31.26. A shuttle will also run from Middleton Place to the Middleton Place Inn from 9:00 - 10:30 and after the reception concludes. Please note that Uber and other rideshare options are very limited after dark at the venue. Guests are advised to stay at the Inn and take advantage of the transportation provided, or plan accordingly for transportation at the end of the evening.
